This year we have adopted a new curriculum- CKLA Amplify. CKLA stands for Core Knowledge Language Arts. Reading, writing, listening, and speaking will be covered with this new curriculum. Here are the names of the units:
Unit 1- Personal Narratives
Unit 2- Early American Civilizations
Unit 3- Poetry
Unit 4- Adventures of Don Quixote
Unit 5- The Renaissance
Unit 6- The Reformation
Unit 7- William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream
Unit 8- Native Americans
Unit 9- Chemical Matter/The Badlands Sleuth: The Case of the Missing Fossils
